Hi, I'm Hunter, a Founder, ML Engineer, and ex-Astrophysicist. I spend my free time playing pickleball and walking my dog, Finn.

I'm currently building Ellipsis, a managed agent platform for developers. It allows engineering teams to deploy cloud agents for software factories, code review, and background tasks. Ellipsis is funded by Y Combinator.

Ellipsis launched in 2023 as one of the first AI Code Review agents. We grew the business to 800+ customers, including Brex and AngelList, and became the most popular AI code review product among YC founders.

Previously, I worked as an ML engineer at AWS and Amazon Advertising. I also founded The Practical Interview, a startup that made technical assessments more like day-to-day work for software engineers.

I was lucky to be a part of a private alpha of OpenAI's Codex model in 2021. Codex was a GPT-3-based LLM fine-tuned on GitHub data.
